Hasta La Vista

Game Description:
A fun cooperative game.
Objective:
Work as team with your partner to not be the last group to meet each other in the playing area!
Game Rules:
Have all the children partner up. Each pairs starts back to back. When the music plays or the whistle blows, each person in the pair must run in opposite direction from their partner, around the playing area marked off by the leader. When the music stops or the whistle blows again, The pair must then quickly run to each other as fast as possible, but they cannot move backward. They can only move forwards to find one another. The last pair to meet each other, has to go into the middle and do an exercise for the duration of the next round, and then join back in after. The children will learn to speed up and slow down, depending on how close they are to their partner, in order to avoid having to run a super far distance once the whistle blows the second time.
Saftey Considerations:
Have children move with their heads up and not be running into other pairings.
Progression (optional):
Try different locomotion skills.
