Two Ball Dodgeball

Game Description:
A great fast paced dodgeball game that only requires two dodgeballs.
Objective:
Eliminate all the players from the other teams side, by throwing a dodgeball at your opponents.
Game Rules:
Split the children up into two groups, with a centre line dividing each team. You then have to split each team's side into two halves again. You can use cones or tape to make a line to show all the boundaries. When you are done putting down your boundaries you should have 4 even boxes, with the two team standing in the one that is divided by the centre line. The game then starts like a regular game of dodgeball, but with only two balls. Tell the children they can only hold onto the dodgeball for 3 seconds. If a child is hit with the dodgeball, they go to the other teams side, in the box that you marked off. They now must stay in this box until the game is over, but they are allowed to throw dodgeballs at their opponents who are in front of them, from inside of the box. This is why the game only has two dodgeballs, because you eventually can be hit with a dodgeball from people standing in front of you, or behind you. The game is over once everyone on one team is now standing in the box behind their opponents.
Saftey Considerations:
Tell children to not hit any one in the head, and to throw the balls below everyone's neck.
Adaptations (optional):
You can change the sizes of the boxes to change the dynamics and the pace of the game. Add or take away balls as well to change the pace of the game.
Progression (optional):
Have the children try a round where they must throw with their opposite hand.
