Ball Elimination

Game Description:
A kicking version of the classic throwing game hoop elimination!
Objective:
Try to kick the dodge balls and knock all the balls off the cones!
Game Rules:
To set the game up you will place cones randomly around the playing area and then place a ball on top of each cone. It could be a foam ball, sponge ball, dodge ball, or any other type of lightweight ball would work. The closer you place the cones together, the easier it will be to eliminate the balls, the more spread out the cones are the more difficult it will be. A rope or other marker should be put on the ground to mark where children will be kicking from; spread the dodgeballs (or other balls you would like to be kicked) along the rope. Split the children up into 4 groups (groups can be adjusted based on the number of children) and line them up about 10 feet away from the rope, use coloured hoops to separate the teams. Instruct the teams that even though they are all split up, they will be working together as one big team to kick the balls and knock over all the balls that are balancing on the cones. When the leader says go, 1 player from each team will run up to the rope and kick a ball in an attempt to knock one of the foam balls off of the cone. Once that player is done they will run back to their team, high five the next person in line and the game will continue until all the balls have been knocked off the cones. Record how long it took for the game to be completed and give the children that time as a goal for the next round!
Progression (optional):
Try doing a round where players have to kick using only their left leg!
