Game Description: 
It's time to walk like animals
Objective: 
The objective of the game is to get warmed up by walking like animals.
Game Rules: 
To begin several coloured hula hops must be spread out throughout the playing area. The leader then call out the name of an animal, example a kangaroo. Children must move throughout the playing area jumping like a kangaroo. After a few moments, the leader must then call out a colour, for example purple. When the children hear this colour they must move to one of the purple hula hoops and place their toes in the hula hoop. And the activity continues Some example of possible animals can be dog, cat, bear, butterfly, bird or even dinosaur
Adaptations (optional): 
For variation ask children for suggestions of animals to act like or call out zoo and children can choose to act like their favourite animal.
Progression (optional): 
Have child mimic the sound made by these animal as they move around.
