Great group game to get everybody moving!
Objective:
To practice a variety of fundamental movement skills in a fun and competitive group game.
Game Rules:
Begin by splitting up the children in 2-4 teams. Designate one team as the taggers, the other teams are given their own hoop which is their island. The team must try and get all their members onto the island. In order for player to get to their island they must successfully cross the non-safe zone. In this zone the non-tagging team can be tagged. In the event that they are tagged they must sit down where they are and wait for another member of their team to run and tag their hand to free them. The first team with all their teammates on their island wins.
Saftey Considerations:
Be sure to set up boundaries with cones to indicate the playing area to avoid any collisions with walls.
