Penny Lane

Game Description: 
A quick warm up team game that requires some hunting skills.
Objective: 
To get the most pennies before the time is up.
Game Rules: 
The leader will spread out pennies (or it can be different object like bean bags or plush balls) throughout the field. They will then split the group up into two teams. On the leader's cue, everyone on both teams will set out to hunt for the pennies all over the field. The team with the most pennies by the end of the timed interval wins that round.
Adaptations (optional): 
Can get the kids to do different fundamental movement skills for each round- run, hop, skip, jump. Or the leader can ask them to pick up the object in different ways- like using only their left hand, feet, etc.
