Bridges and Rivers

Game Description:
A fun game to get the kids working on the different fundamental movements!
Objective:
To become a bridge or a river
Game Rules:
Split half the group up into rivers and the other half into bridges. Cue the kids to do certain fundamental movement skills- run, hop, skip, jump, gallop, etc. Yell out either rivers or bridges. If the leader yells out bridges- the kids that are bridges will make a bridge with their body and then the rivers will have to crawl under as many bridges as they can. If the leader calls out rivers- the rivers will make a river with their body and the bridges have to jump over as many as they can. You can switch the teams up after a couple rounds.
