Protect the Prime Minister

Game Description:
Will the body guard be able to Protect the Prime Minister from all the dodge ball throwers?
Objective:
Dodge ball throwers stand in a circle and try to hit the Prime Minister, while the bodyguard tries to block all the incoming throws.
Game Rules:
Make a medium sized circle with cones to outline the playing area. Instruct the children that most of the players will be standing around the outside of the circle and throwing dodge balls. In the middle there will be the Prime Minister and a body guard. The Prime Minister is trying to avoid being hit with a dodge ball and the body guard is in charge of blocking as many dodge balls as they can in order to keep the Prime Minister safe. Once somebody successfully hits the Prime Minister the game is paused. That thrower becomes the new body guard, the previous body guard becomes the new Prime Minister and the previous Prime Minister joins as a thrower on the outside of the circle. Usually game play works best with around 5 dodge balls, but this can be varied depending on the size of your group. Feel free to use 2 body guards in the middle if the Prime Minister continues to get hit too quickly.
Saftey Considerations:
Head shots don't count
Progression (optional):
Don't pause the game once the Prime Minister gets hit. It's the throwers job to get in there as fast as they can and protect the new Prime Minister!
