Steal the Bacon

Game Description:
A fun strategy game that practices many different skills!
Objective:
To bring the yoga ball back to your team without being tagged!
Game Rules:
First tell the children to line up from shortest to tallest. Then go down the line giving the children a number either 1 or 2. Team 1 will line up on one side of the playing area, team 2 will line up on the other side of the playing area, while staying in line from shortest to tallest. Starting with the shortest child on each team, assign numbers, starting with 1 and tell them that it's very important they remember their number. (The shortest child on each team should have 1, etc.) Once the children are all lined up, explain that each round you will yell out a number. When their number is called, they must run toward the middle and try to pick up the yoga ball and bring it back to their team. If the other team grabs the yoga ball and is running back to their team, the other player can tag them before they get back to their team line. If the player successfully brings the ball back to their team, they get a point. If the other player tags the player with the ball before they get back to their team line, then they get a point. Continue calling many different numbers so everyone gets a turn!
