Game Description:
Follow the beat of the leader. Grab a tambourine or some rhythm sticks.
Objective:
For the leader: Play your instrument with different rhythms, fast and slow.
For the children: Follow the beat with your feet!
Game Rules:
Have the children line up around a large circle. The leader will then play a beat with the instrument. The children will attempt to follow the beat with their feet.
Make sure to change the speed of the beat to encourage different rhythms!
Progression (optional):
Make it harder by having the children hop, jump or leap to the beat!
